Orochi Chris 97 is a Yellow Balanced Fighter that is originally part of the KOF 97 roster.


LEADER SKILL
OVERVIEW
Overview
Chris’s leader skill is pretty eh. Atk power, HP and Crit rate up for Yellows. Not bad, but not really stellar. His normal string is probably the best out of the group, in my opinion, as it is long enough to fit two Kyo 98 leader skill burns.
Core
Chris is unconditionally the best burn in the game. He has the classic Orochi “‘5%x5 stacks’ atk buff on attacking opponents” as his first core. Alongside that, he has a second passive that acts like Pretty Yashiro’s Shock-nuke but in form of burns. He has a Def/Atk buff and a pretty damn good 30% Power Gauge Gain core. Alongside burn damage bonus, he is pretty solid for his role.
Skills
Orochi Chris got some decent buffs in his skills. First skill is pretty good with a decent damage buff. It’s problem is that it sitll doesn’t really OTG not does it really have anything else besides being a burn skill. Second skill disables guard, which is good as it has been Chris’s neutral tool.
It has a burn also built into it. Third skill increases Critical hit chance and also gives super armor alongside disabling evasion. Not really that bad. Overall, eh upgrades for his skills. His Atk core buff has made him much more easier to utilize, though. His biggest problems are still his long cooldowns and the fact that he doesn’t really have any more burn sources.
Conclusion
Orochi Chris didn’t get much compared to Yashiro (def to atk conversion) or Shermie (shocks on both projectiles), but he did get some solid buffs like Krizalid. Sadly, Krizalid and Orochi Chris is probably the least effected by their buffs so far.
