OVERVIEW

Overview

Goenitz comes with actually a below-average attack stat, surprisingly. His defense stat is around average and his HP pool is above-average. His leader skill improves [Orochi Clan] category characters attack by 30% and critical rate by 13%. Eh… Not great.

Core

Goenitz has a VERY hilarious normal attack string. It is a series of punches that leads to a launch. The last tornado launches downed enemies also. His cores are great, Attack power boost, Penetration increase, Power Gain gauge increase by 30%.

His unique first core decreases attack of enemies when he attacks them in a bleeding state. The debuff is minor, but it’s better then most skills. His unique second core passive causes a 3.9% bleeding effect for 3 seconds when a critical hit happens. This is almost minimal compared to other effects later on… if it wasn’t for the fact that this bleed stacks with other bleeds… Making Goenitz more then threatening ever after combos.

Skills

Goenitz has a general cooldown time of 11 seconds. His first skill generates a tornado where the enemy is. This is a multi-hit stationary fireball that definitely cannot be evaded past. This also hits downed enemies and slowly launches enemies up.

Basically: this move is freaking scary to go against and is the reason why most people fear him in PvP, due to how he loves to use it. Second skill is a very fast grab. It’s low cooldown time for grabs makes this very dangerous as it is also easily followed up.

It is multi-hit, meaning any multi-hit abilities like the bleeding passive will most likely land. Third skill is a very dash that slashes anything in its way. Goenitz has a startup time, but it’s very short. This also causes a 18% attack power bleed upon hit, so it hurts when Goenitz ends a combo with this as this has a 100% landing rate.

Conclusion

There’s nothing else much to talk about Goenitz. His striker art is his third skill, which also deals a 12% attack power bleeding effect on the enemy. He also carries a striker/main link that gives a skill cooldown reduction of 1 second from a free character later on. This striker link also gives him 1% power gauge regeneration per second (1 bar = 20%) This man is very normal for a FES, nothing too out there, but he is generally very much more fun to play then Orochi Iori, in my opinion. It’s just he’s just a giant green beatstick instead of a gigantic 60% attack power lead.
